Mum just sent me some perfume all the way from France! It smells lovely. She and da went on a little holiday this week to 'get away from it all'. I suppose they do deserve a break. Da's always working and mum has to deal with Rory on a daily basis, I think it would wear on me too. I'm just glad they had a good time and brought me somethi.
Also good luck to both teams this weekend! I'll be in the stands of course. Who d'you think is going to win? Like I need to ask

SERIOUSLY? Three days until the first game of the season! Slytherin, you better be preparing yourselves! And everyone else? So should you. Preparing to LOSE. Yeah. That's right. I'm overly confident, but its fine because its well justified. We have an excellent team and an even more excellent captain!
Also this karaoke thing? Not too sure if I want to sing, but I am most definitely coming to watch all the rest of you. Who's singing what, hm? I hope some Lennon or Kinks? Maybe?

Violet I My little sister is not crazy. She might be annoying, but she's most certainly not nutters. How aggravating. I hope none of you plan on listening to that garbage. Its just gossip to make us skeptical of one another. I suppose it does point out your true friends. And Alice, that's complete rubbish about you. How can they say that!
I've got rounds tonight with Ian. Be sure you're in your dormitories on time. That'll make all our lives easier.

Don't get me wrong, I'm honored to be Head Girl, but holy Merlin these first years are driving me absolutely INSANE. Someone please save me. I'm holed up in the loo because if I didn't get away I probably would have died or something equally horrible. Anyone having "problems" down in their compartment? Because I can definitely come help out!
Field day was brilliant as was Vaisey's. Overall ace summer. I'm a little disappointed it ended so quickly, but I had a wicked time. Now I get to fill my brain with a crock of information I'll probably never use, but the good news is its my last year! How terrifying is that? I don't like thinking about it.
Anyway, looking forward to the first Quidditch game of the year - Slytherin, you're more than ready aren't you?? HOPEFULLY?
